Stop The Violence
Monday - October 17 

To Respect Myself and Others
Today I will respect myself and other people and keep from saying or doing mean things to others.

To Communicate Better
Today I will share my feelings honestly, look for safe ways to talk and act when I'm angry, and work at solving problems peacefully.
Tuesday - October 18
To Listen

Today I will listen carefully to others, especially those who disagree with me, and care about others' feelings and not always demand to have my own way.

Wednesday - October 19
To Forgive
Today I will say I'm sorry and mean it when I have hurt another person, forgive others when they have hurt me,and keep from holding grudges.
Thursday - October 20
To Respect Nature
Today I will treat the environment and all living things, including my pets, with respect and care.
Friday - October 21
To Play Creatively
Today I will play in fun ways and not means ways, and keep from using toys, watching TV programs and playing games that make violence look exciting or funny.
To Be Courageous
Today I will challenge violence in all its forms whenever I see it, whether at home, at school or in the community, and stand with others who are treated unfairly.
